About this site

This site is maintained by the support team for Michio Kanda’s trans-Pacific balloon attempt.

We are using it to provide updates on the ongoing attempt to locate Kanda-san, who has been missing since we lost contact with him on his voyage across the North Pacific.

The same content is posted in English and Japanese, although there may be a slight delay while we translate things from one language into the other.
